Master Photography Part 2

In this video tutorial of Master Photography Part 2 we will look at the camera buttons and basic settings, autofocus, drive settings, white balance, raw vs .jpg and more. This will help you get started on your journey to learn digital photography. I have information slides that I talk you through different aspects of the camera like rear or back button focus. Switching the focus button from the shutter button can improve autofocus accuracy when starting to master photography.

The Exposure Triangle

  • Shutter Speed: This controls motion in the image, and the amount of light that enters the camera.
  • Aperture: Read in F-stops. This controls “Depth of Field,” and the amount of light that enters the camera.
  • ISO: This controls the sensitivity of the cameras sensor, and the amount of light that is needed to take a photograph.

Until you understand the exposure triangle and equivalent exposures you will struggle with photography. It takes time, to master photography do not expect it to happen in weeks. It takes a few years.
